Quarter 2 EXAM:   Period 1: Thursday 1/25        Period 3 Friday 1/26
Covers the following Units: Cell Cycle, Sexual Reproduction & Genetics, Molecular Genetics, Evolution, Ecology. Students may prepare and use 2 sheets of Study Notes on the exam.  Exam format is 64 Multiple Choice and 5 Short Answer Questions.

* In the News:  Read this current events science article.  Write a reflection on how this technology can benefit and possibly harm life on earth.  Support your position with evidence from the article.  -->

Gene Editing and What it really means to Rewrite the Code of Life

ECOLOGY Unit:

* Bozeman Science Video:  Ecological Succession
Take notes on the Ecological Succession Bozeman science video. Post your video summary in Canvas. Due Friday  1/19/18

* Investigation: Do Environmental Changes Affect a Population?
Students are to do the Investigation that explores how environmental changes affect populations in an ecosystem food web. There are 4 environmental changes explored: global warming, predator change, vegetation change, and pesticide introduction (change). For each environmental change being explored, complete and screen shot the related chart and graph.  Below each chart/graph, caption the data with a CLAIM (Yes or No ... this (example) global warming environmental change does affect a population) and EVIDENCE: Use the data to support your claim.  Answer the Notebook Questions.  Post your word document in Canvas 1/20/18.
